The Valuation Office Agency relies on rental evidence, which they interpret and input into computer based models. Due to the number of valuations carried out, the process is generalised, with the shortcomings of this approach being exacerbated by the VO’s lack of data and expertise.

Our expertise enables us to challenge and appeal valuations, as well as determine whether, owing to a material change of circumstances, there is scope for either a permanent or temporary reduction in value. On an ongoing basis, we are able to regularly check whether the correct charges and reliefs have been applied.
